Steve Deace – CN Founder

Toledo @ Iowa State - Iowa State...but it will be close.

Florida State @ Miami - Miami...Florida State doesn't win at Miami unless it has Charlie Ward or Warrick Dunn in the backfield.

USC @ Arkansas - USC...but this game will also be a lot closer than people think.

Cal @ Tennessee - Cal...and if the Bears win this game the rest of the schedule is pretty favorable.

Notre Dame @ Georgia Tech - Notre Dame...although Calvin Johnson should abuse the Irish secondary and pad his NFL highlight tape for the 2007 draft.

Chris Williams – CN Publisher

Toledo @ Iowa State – The Clones offense struggles early but they come from behind in the 2nd half to win 31-21.

Florida State @ MiamiLorenzo Booker has a huge game and the Noles pull of the slight upset on the road…28 – 21 FSU.

USC @ Arkansas – This one isn't nearly as close as everybody thinks it will be…USC 38 Arkansas 14

Cal @ TennesseeTennessee is too tough at home for a non-USC Pac 10 team…31-17 Vols

Notre @ Georgia Tech – The Irish get a scare early, but come back to win by two touchdowns in the 2nd half. 35 – 21 Notre Dame.

Brent Blum – CN Columnist

Toledo @ Iowa State- Iowa State - The good guys have too many weapons for the Rockets. They go for 35 plus and coast home, thanks to some big plays by the linebackers. ISU 38 Toledo 21

Florida State @ Miami- Miami - One thing we can count on is a few fisticuffs and over-zealous celebrations. Miami 24 FSU 17

USC @ Arkansas -USC - Athletes all over the place for the Trojans. Arkansas has nowhere near the firepower to overcome. Plus they have John David Booty under center, which will lead to sly comments like, "Booty shakes free and fires a bomb." This could be fun. Yes, I still belong in middle school. USC 31 Arkansas 21

Cal @ TennesseeTennessee, Oh Rocky Top, Oh Rocky Top, welcome back to the national scene. UT 27 Cal 21

Notre Dame @ Georgia Tech- Notre Dame - Notre Dame is receiving a little too much hype. Heck, ISU beat 2 more ranked teams than the golden-domers last year. But, do you really want to pick Chan Gailey over Charlie Weis? I don't either. Notre Dame 35 GT 27

Luke Vander Sanden – CN Ambassador/Former ISU Team Captain

Toledo @ Iowa State - ISU...Iowa State has a lot to prove to it's fans that there will be no excuses for a young defense.  ISU 31- Toledo-10

FSU @ MiamiMiami 24- FSU- 10  FSU will struggle once again versus a stacked Miami squad

USC @ Arkansas - USC 28- Ark 14  USC is looking to replace LenDale White, Reggie Bush, and Matt Leinart...Look for USC to start slow, then get into a rthym.

Cal @ Tennessee - Tennessee 38- Cal 17  Tennessee looks to make their name on the national map this year.

Notre Dame @ Georgia Tech – Notre Dame- 34- GT-10…Notre Dame comes with a strong performance letting the national know why they are the top team to look for.

Jack Whitver – CN Ambassador/Former ISU Team Captain

Toledo @ Iowa State - Iowa State offense too much for Toledo. Todd Blythe has a field day as ISU wins 35-24.

FSU @ Miami - FSU starts national title talk with a 24-14 win in Miami.

USC @ Arkansas - USC too fast and athletic for the Razorbacks. Trojans 38, Razorbacks 10.

Cal @ Tennessee - Tennessee uses huge home field advantage to pull off a close one, Vols 24 Cal 21.

Notre Dame @ Georgia Tech - Brady Quinn starts his Heisman campaign as the Irish win 31-17.
