Chris Williams – CN Publisher
(28-7 on the season)
Texas Tech @ Iowa State –
I don't know why,
but I have a really good feeling about homecoming in Ames. The players just seem
different this week. Meaner. I like the Clones 31-28.
Texas @ Nebraska –
Texas humiliates the Husker Nation and
proves how overrated they actually are. Texas
Iowa @ Michigan – Drew Tate will cry like a baby
when Iowa gets
spanked. Michigan 30 Iowa
Georgia Tech @ Clemson –
I love Tech's
team this year, but Clemson beats on everybody this year. Clemson 31 Tech
Boston College @ Florida State – Tomahawk Choppin tonight in
17 BC 13
Vander Sanden – Former ISU Team Captain/CN Ambassador (23-12 on the
@ Iowa State - This
one will be a toss up in my opinion.
I think it could go either way, but I think Texas Tech's proven passing
system is going to be tough to defend with all the new faces at new positions on
Texas @ Nebraska - Texas' defense is just too fast and too tough for
hang with. Texas wins by
Iowa @ Michigan - Michigan absolutely embarrasses Iowa.
Georgia Tech @ Clemson - Clemson in a
tight game. This one is won in the
4th quarter with big time plays being made.
College @ Florida State - I
like Florida State at Tallahassee.
Blum – CN Columnist (26-9 on the season)
Tech @ Iowa State – Iowa State. The
guys looked angry this weekend. Especially the O-line. I think Iowa State pounds Tech right in the face and
doesn't let up. The D forces a few turnovers to seal it. Clones 31 Tech
@ Nebraska – Texas. They
showed the Texas-Nebraska replay in the first Big 12 Championship today. Anybody
know the running back for the Longhorns? That's right it was none other than
Priest Holmes. Who only played due to Ricky Williams' injury. Fun fact of the
day. Texas 31 Nebraska 21
@ Michigan – Michigan. Poor
Tate is going to blow another gasket. Michigan
Tech @ Clemson – Clemson. The
Tigers are just beating up on people lately. Dare I say the best team in the
ACC? I just did. Clemson 31 Georgia Tech 21.
College @ Florida State
College is the college football version
of the Wisconsin basketball team. They just
don't blow you away, but are fundamentally sound and get stuff done. That said
always gets run out of the gym by teams with clearly superior athletes. Same
case here. Florida
State 21 BC 17.
Deace – CN Founder (24-11 on the season)
Tech over Iowa
State – The
Cyclones can win this game if they get out to a quick start on offense with a
couple of big plays and take advantage of the open revolt going among the Red
Raiders. But we haven't seen much this season that indicates they're either
capable or willing to do that.
this will be closer than most people think. This is Colt McCoy's first start
outside of the state of Texas, and Memorial Stadium will be rocking
the Huskers have nice balance on offense. The only time the Longhorns faced a
balanced offense this season they lost.
over Iowa – The
Hawkeyes are beat up, and Michigan is relatively healthy despite the
injury to Mario Manningham. Plus, the Wolverines are far superior on both sides
of the line of scrimmage.
over Georgia Tech – Home
field matters here, although Tech has won at Auburn, Miami, and Virginia Tech the past two seasons.
State over Boston College – The
starting quarterback for the Eagles is dinged up and the Seminoles still play
good defense, especially at home.
Jack Whitver – CN Ambassador (23-12 on the season)
Tech @ Iowa State – ISU
21 Texas Tech
@ Nebraska – Texas
@ Michigan – Michigan
Tech @ Clemson – GT
17 Clemson 14
College @ Florida State – BC
24 FSU 21
