CN Pick Five - Week 9

Need some help picking the top five games of the week??? If so, check out what the CN staff thinks will happen on Saturday.

Chris Williams – CN Publisher (31-9 on the season)

Iowa State @ Kansas State – I have to take the home team in this one. The Clones haven't shown me anything that proves they can turn this horrible season around. Kansas State 27 Iowa State 17

Oklahoma @ MissouriMissouri starts their losing streak in this game. Oklahoma 27 Missouri 14

Miami @ Georgia Tech – Tech is sweet, Miami isn't. Half their teams should be in jail. Tech 31 The "U" 14

Texas A&M @ Baylor – Trendy upset pick, but I'll take the favorite. A&M 30 Baylor 24

Nebraska @ OSU – OSU covers the 6-point spread but the Huskers win 28 to 24.

Steve Deace – CN Founder (28-12 on the season)

Iowa State @ KSU – Kansas State

Oklahoma @ MissouriMissouri

Miami @ Georgia Tech – Georgia Tech

Texas A&M @ Baylor – A&M

Nebraska @ OSU - OSU

Jack Whitver – CN Ambassador (26-14 on the season)

Iowa State @ Kansas StateIowa State 21 KSU 17

Oklahoma @ Missouri – OU 24 MU 21

Miami @ Georgia Tech – GT 17 UM 14

Texas A&M @ Baylor – A&M 34 Baylor 27

Nebraska @ OSU – Nebraska 28 OSU 13

Luke Vander Sanden – Former ISU Team Captain/CN Ambassador (27-13 on the season)

Iowa State @ Kansas State – Do or die time…a hard fought battle by both squads…ISU loses a tough one. 17-14.

Oklahoma @ Missouri – Missouri shows why they are for real out of the North division. Oklahoma shows why they are really missing Adrian Peterson. Missou wins in a battle. Missou 24 OU 21

Miami @ Georgia Tech – Tech wins this one with class, something Miami lacks. Tech 35 Miami 17

Texas A&M @ Baylor – What a job Guy Morris is doing down at Baylor. This one is won by the Bears, and might turn some heads in the recruiting battle. Baylor 28 A&M 10

Nebraska @ OSU – Nebraska wins this one easily, and lets it be known why they are a front runner in the Big 12 North race. Nebraska 38 OSU – 10

Brent Blum – CN Columnist (29-11 on the season)

Iowa State @ Kansas State - Iowa State. Perhaps I'm blinded by my cardinal and gold Oakley's but I truly think the Cyclones have more talent in most positions. If they hold the ‘Cats to under 200 yards rushing, they pull out a victory. Cyclones 27 Wildcats 21.

Oklahoma @ Missouri - Missouri. This is the type of game Gary Pinkel hasn't won at Mizzou. But with the lack of punch on the OU offense, it sets up for a tremendous win for the Tiger program. Missouri 24 Oklahoma 20.

Miami @ Georgia Tech - Georgia Tech. The wheels are coming off in Miami. And this may be the game where they officially crash and explode. Nice to know you Mr. Coker.

GT 27 Miami 13.

Texas A&M @ Baylor - Texas A&M. This may be the biggest game at Baylor in the last 20 years. And as only Baylor can do they won't show up to play. A&M rolls.

Texas A&M 37 Baylor 21.

Nebraska @ Oklahoma State - Nebraska. Can we find another phrase for sandwich game? While I think about that one, watch as Nebraska runs the Cowboys into the ground. It will be old-school Husker football in Stillwater. Huskers 31 Cowboys 17.
