CN Pick 5 - Week 10

Need some help picking games this weekend? CN is here to help. Find out what the staff thinks about the top five games of the weekend right here.

Chris Williams – CN Publisher (35-10 on the season)

Kansas @ Iowa StateNormally I would just be a homer here and pick the Clones, but I need to keep adding to my lead in the standings. I'll go with my gut and take the Jayhawks 24-13.

Missouri @ NebraskaThere aren't two teams in the nation that I hate more. I wish that somehow, some way, they could both lose. Unfortunately that's not possible, so I'll take the Huskers 31-27.

Oklahoma @ Texas A&M – Oklahoma impressed me a lot last week with their win over Missouri. I'm going to take the Sooners in this one 27-21.

Boston College @ Wake Forrest – All wake has been doing is winning, and all anybody does is disrespect the Deacons. I'm taking Wake in a big win for that up and coming program. 34 – 27

LSU @ TennesseeI'll take LSU in this one. Just a more solid football team. 20 – 13

Steve Deace – CN Founder (32-13 on the season)

Kansas @ Iowa State - Iowa State...this will be their final win of the season.

Missouri @ Nebraska - Missouri...only because I disdain Nebraska more.

Oklahoma @ Texas A&M - Texas A&M...the Aggies get their signature win.

Boston College @ Wake Forrest - Boston College...too physical for the Demon Deacons.

LSU @ Tennessee - LSU...they're the better team despite what the record says.

Jack Whitver – CN Ambassador (29-16 on the season)

Kansas @ Iowa State - ISU 24 KU 21

Missouri @ Nebraska - NU 17 MU 13

Oklahoma @ Texas A&M - OU 34 TA&M 24

Boston College @ Wake Forrest - BC 16 WF 14

LSU @ Tennessee - UT 17   LSU 10

Luke Vander Sanden – Former ISU Team Captain/CN Ambassador (29-16 on the season)

Kansas @ Iowa State - I think this is the game ISU finally puts together.  Iowa State 21  Kansas 17

Missouri @ Nebraska - Big game for the Big XII North.  Nebraska holds off Mizzou in a thriller

Oklahoma @ Texas A&M - Can't go wrong with Oklahoma here.  They prove they can win big without Adrian Peterson

Boston College @ Wake Forrest - Going with my gut on this one, Boston College over W. Forrest

LSU @ Tennessee - Rocky Top here we go…Tenn wins a thriller over LSU in a very competitive and exciting game.

Brent Blum – CN Columnist (31-14 on the season)

Kansas @ Iowa State - Iowa State. The Cyclones haven't lost to the Jayhawks at home since 1996. Being an underdog at home to a one win conference team with a third-string quarterback should be a massive slap in the face. If the good guys don't win this one, it may be all she wrote for the rest of the year. ISU should be able to attack Kansas through the air. KU is actually worse against the pass than ISU. They are 117th in the country. The boys need this one badly. Iowa State 24 Kansas 21.

Missouri @ Nebraska - Nebraska. Both teams are in danger of ruining a potentially great year. As much as I like Chase Daniel, I don't believe he can carry Mizzou in a tough atmosphere in Lincoln. Winner paves the way to KC. Nebraska 27 Mizzou 23.

Oklahoma @ Texas A&M - Oklahoma. Is anybody very comfortable with the fact that Texas A&M and Coach Fran control their own destiny to the Big 12 Championship? I know I'm not. They are due to stumble and this is a good spot to do so. Too much OU defense. Oklahoma 24 Texas A&M 13.

Boston College @ Wake Forest - Boston College. Ok, let me get a few things straight. Wake Forest is ranked. Rutgers is in the top 15. Louisville is going to be ranked in the top 3 next week. This makes me a little queasy. For that reason, Boston College will put the world back on its normal track. Boston College 30 Wake Forest 24.

LSU @ Tennessee- LSU. I have a long running joke with anybody that will listen that all SEC games end 17-14. Just watch this week and you will be amazed the number of 17-14 scores in that football-drunk area of the country. LSU 17 UT 14.

1st – Williams @ 35-10

2nd – Deace @ 32-13

3rd – Blum @ 31-14

4th (T) – Whitver and Vander Sanden @ 29-16
