Stadium. It will be senior day and McCarney's 141st game as ISU's
longest tenured coach (12 years). The winningest coach in Cyclone history,
McCarney announced his resignation Wednesday and Saturday's game will be his
final contest as Iowa State head coach.

great 12 years," McCarney said fighting back tears. "It's going to be hard to
say goodbye to the Big 12. Its been a great 12 years. I want something
real good for these seniors and this football team here at the end."

Iowa State answered, Meyer driving the Cyclones 86
yards on 10 plays, capped by the TD pass to Davis. Senior Ryan Kock tallied a career
single-game high 38 yards rushing on the first scoring drive alone. Kock
finished the game with a career high 82 yards rushing on 18 carries. His
fourth-quarter 5-yard TD run was his 18th rushing career scoring effort, tying
him for 10th on the all-time ISU career list.
Colorado added field goals of
47- and 38 yards by Mason Crosby and a 5-yard TD run by Jackson to lead 20-7 at
halftime. Crosby finished his career with 46 points in four games against
State. The senior,
whom McCarney called "the best kicker in the history of college football," was
12-of-13 on field goals against the Cyclones, and 10-of-11 on extra-point
attempts in his career vs. Iowa State. -yarder that fell just short in the
