Iowa State already holds two commitments from guards in the class of 2008. One of the top big men on Iowa State's list is the Brewster Academy's Emanuel Negedu. Negedu, a 6'7, 225 junior forward out of Nigeria currently has three schools who are coming at him hard in the recruiting process.

Those schools are Iowa State, Iowa and Arizona.

Though those three schools continue to stand out, Negedu continues to insist that he's not worried about recruiting right now.

"I'm just taking my time because I'm just a junior right now. I'm just trying to go through the recruiting process," Negedu told CN. "I'm not going to rank schools or anything like that right now."

Negedu has numerous ties to Iowa State through Brewster. The first is his current teammate and Iowa State commit in the class of 2007, Craig Brackins.

"We're cool," Negedu said about his relationship with Brackins.

Another tie to the current Cyclone team is Iowa State freshman Dodie Dunson who played with Negedu at Brewster only a year ago.

"He calls me sometimes, I call him too," Negedu said about Dunson.

Along with his relationships with current and future Cyclones, Negedu has been impressed with the Iowa State coaching staff so far in his recruitment.

"They have great coaches. They have done a good job in the recruiting process."
