The Oklahoma State Cowboys haven't exactly exhibited much Southern Hospitality to the Cyclones over the years. Will Saturday night's game in Stillwater be any different?

Iowa State lost its third consecutive conference game and second in a row at home with a 69-60 loss to Kansas State last Saturday...the loss ended ISU's seven-game winning streak against Kansas State in Hilton Coliseum...a slow start by the Cyclones hurt their chances against the Wildcats...ISU shot 30.0 percent from the field (6-20 FG) and committed 10 turnovers in the first half, as KSU held a 26-16 halftime was the lowest scoring half for ISU since tallying 14 points in the first half at Texas Tech on Feb. 2, 2002...ISU shot 19.0 percent from beyond the arc (4-of-21)...the Cyclones are 10-for-48 (20.8 percent) from 3-point range in their last two games...there was some bright spots in the game...the Cyclones outrebounded the Wildcats, 36-34, the ninth opponent in their last 12 where ISU won the battle of the boards...ISU also committed just one turnover in the second half...Jiri Hubalek posted his fourth double-double in his last six games with 17 points and 10 rebounds...the center made 7-of-12 shots from the floor and recorded a block in his seventh consecutive game...Hubalek is averaging 13.7 points and 8.6 rebounds in his last seven games...Mike Taylor was held scoreless for the fi rst 31 minutes of the game, but broke loose late, scoring all 21 of his points in the final nine minutes of the was Taylor's team-high seventh 20-point game of the year...Taylor nailed a pair of treys to increase his season total to 51, which ranks 15th on ISU's single-season scoring chart...Taylor has hit a 3-pointer in 15 consecutive games...Dodie Dunson received his second start of the season, scoring six points and grabbing two rebounds...Dunson made a trey in the game to give him 20 on the season, tying for fifth on ISU's freshman 3-pointers made chart...Wesley Johnson had his four-game double-double streak snapped against the Wildcats...Johnson posted nine points and seven boards in the game...his 9.2 rebounding average ranks second in the Big 12 and is the second-best rebounding clip for an ISU freshman in school history...Rahshon Clark picked up one steal to increase his career total to 116...he is now tied for 14th with Jacy Holloway on ISU's career steal chart.

No. 13 Oklahoma State (17-3, 3-2) is fresh off a 66-61 win over Oklahoma in the Bedlam series Monday night...sophomore Byron Eaton led the Cowboys with 17 points...OSU's two losses in the league were to top-10-ranked Kansas (87-57) and Texas A&M (67-49) on the road...senior forward Mario Boggan is one of the best players in the Big 12 Conference, ranking second in the league in scoring (21.0 ppg) and sixth in rebounding (7.7 rpg)...Boggan is the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week after his 37-point, 20-rebound performance in a triple-overtime win against Texas last week...Boggan and junior JamesOn Curry form one of the best 1-2 scoring punches in the league...Curry currently ranks fourth in the conference in scoring at 18.8 ppg...Curry is third in the league in 3-pointers made per game at 2.79...Curry is hitting 43.3 percent of his shots from downtown this season (55-127)...Curry poured in 35 points in a win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi earlier this season...the Cowboys are averaging 81.8 points per game to rank second in the Big 12...OSU is hitting 49.2 percent of its shots from the fl oor to rank third in the league.
