"We just couldn't get things going offensively," Mason told HR on Wednesday night. "It was extremely frustrating. But we'll be ready for Waxahachie this Friday."
A world class sprinter, Mason ran a 10.4 100-meter in the USA Nationals Track and Field Championship two summer ago. He also posted a 20.9 200-meter and his team finished second in the mile relay and third in the 4x100 relay. This past summer, they won the mile relay with a time of 3:09-flat.
Mason, who will play football and run track wherever he chooses to go, was asked about offers.
"I have quite a few," he said. "I currently have offers from Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Alambama, Arkansas, LSU, Colorado, Purdue, Notre Dame, TCU and Baylor."
Iowa State is also believed to be in the mix and has offered Mason a scholarship.
