Get the latest on a few of the Cyclones' top hoops prospects for the class of 2008.

According to National Recruiting Director Dave Telep, Brett Thompson has a top five. At the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N' Slam the 6-foot-11, 255-pound C said St. Louis, Indiana, Notre Dame, Purdue and Iowa State are at the top of his list.

Thompson, a standout at Vienna (IL) High, is a skilled post player that also has the ability to step out and knock down jump shots. He is a 3-star prospect according to Scout.com...

...Jeremiah Kelly will transfer to American Christian Prep School in Philadelphia for the 2007-08 season. Kelly is leaving Boys to Men Math and English Academy in Chicago which has ended it's basketball program. Kelly favors DePaul, Xavier, Illinois, and Iowa State. He is a Scout.com 3-star prospect...

...In the latest update, Rotnei Clarke named his favorites and ISU wasn't among them for the 4-star point guard prospect.  Clarke has a personal connection to Oral Roberts' coaching staff, but is also considering Oklahoma, Arizona State, Marquette, New Mexico, Arkansas, Tulsa, Washington State, USC, and Gonzaga...

...Washington (IN) big man Tyler Zeller, one of the first players ISU offered in the class of 2008, continues to see his stock soar.  Expect his 2-star status according to Scout.com to change given his impressive list of offers, which now includes: Arizona, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Purdue, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, and Notre Dame along with ISU.  One recruiting service has recently elevated Zeller to a 4-star.
