Troy White Update

David Garvin of Heartland Recruiting and TheInsiders gives Cyclone Nation an update on Sugar Land (Texas) John Foster Dulles defensive end Troy White, who is being recruited hard by the Cyclones.

Playing behind teammate Tim Washington, White has helped lead Dulles to a 2-1 mark heading into their contest with Fort Bend Austin Friday night. Interest in the six-foot-one, 235 lb inside linebacker who has legged out a 4.67 forty, is beginning to pick up.

"I do have an offer from Iowa State," White told HR on Wednesday night. "I'll be watching their game (with Nebraska) for sure this weekend."

White also has some other teams in mind.

"I really like LSU, they're my favorite," he said. "I attended summer camp there and also made one of their games this season. I'm also looking at TCU and Colorado State."

Troy's brother, Deon, played linebacker for Minnesota and former Gopher head coach Jim Wacker in the mid-90's.
