John Wall Update

David Garvin of Heartland Recruiting and TheInsiders gives Cyclone Nation an update on Dallas(Texas) Jesuit tailback John Wall, who is being recruited by the Cyclones.

HR asked Jesuit coach Bob Wunderlick how tailback John Wall's ankle is progressing.

"John's ankle is better and he should be back at 100% since we have a bye this week," Bob said. "He had 147 yards in the first half (against Mexico's Prepa Tec before the game was called in the second quarter due to lightning), but he was still limping."

Coach Wunderlick also said that Rice, Iowa State, Iowa, TCU and SMU are showing genuine interest and Wall's two favorites right now would be Purdue and Lehigh.

Even with the bad ankle, Wall has managed to rush for 1,059 yards on 102 carries with nine touchdowns.
