Billy Davidson Update

David Garvin of Heartland Recruiting and TheInsiders gives Cyclone Nation an update on Dallas (Texas) A. Maceo Smith two-way standout Billy Davidson, who has been offered a scholarship from Iowa State.

Smith's Billy Davidson is one of the most versatile "jumbo" athletes in the DFW Metroplex this season.

"I play tailback, fullback and linebacker," Davidson told HR on Wednesday night. "And, depending on the school, am being recruited as a stong safety, linebacker of fullback."

The five-foot-eleven, 220-lb Davidson, who has turned a 4.6 in the forty, has six schools picked out, but really favors one at the moment.

"I'm considering Iowa State, Colorado, Kansas, Colorado State, Texas A&M and Arizona State," he said. "But I really like the Cyclones. I'm making an official visit there in December, I believe it's the 6th. They have already offered me a scholarship."

Davidson currently carries a 2.6 GPA and will also be taking his ACT in December.
