ISU On Offense Against Iowa

Last year it was Phillip Bates who made the clutch catch when a big play was needed. Who will step up this year in Iowa City?

The Cyclone Sports Report Three Keys To Look For On Saturday Afternoon:

1)THE HEALTH OF A-ROB-The coaches have stated that it is likely sophomore running back Alexander Robinson will play on Saturday but it is not a guarantee. With Robinson out of the line-up, the Cyclones running game was clearly not the same against Kent State. If Robinson plays on Saturday, it would increase the chances of a Cyclone victory in a big way.

2)TRICK PLAYS-Using trick plays once in a while is a smart thing to do and it might be wise for Chizik and company to throw the Hawkeyes off balance early on with some kind of gimmick play that could lead to an Iowa State touchdown.

GET IN THE END ZONE-Five field goals will not likely get it done again this season. Unlike last year, the Cyclones have clearly been able to get in the end zone through the first two games. This is a must if the Cyclones want to come away victorious in Iowa City.
