ISU On Defense Against UNLV

Despite suffering a tough loss in Iowa City last Saturday, the Cyclone defense was more than up to the task. What will it take from the defense to gain a road victory at UNLV on Saturday night?

The Cyclone Sports Report Three Keys To Look For On Saturday Night:

1)SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE-UNLV along with Tulsa and Florida are the only schools in the country that have yet to commit a turnover. Iowa State's defense has forced 12 turnovers which leads the Big 12. Whoever wins this battle will likely win the game.

2)STOP THEM IN THE RED ZONE-If the Cyclones can accomplish this feat they will be the first. The Rebels are a perfect 10 for 10 as they have scored every time they have moved it into the red zone this year.

3)BE PREPARED FOR A BALANCED ATTACK-The Rebels have thrown the ball 90 times in three games but they are also averaging 103 yards a game on the ground. They have proven they can be successful both ways so the Cyclones need to be prepared to try and shut down both elements on Saturday night.
