ISU On Offense Against UNLV

What will it take for the Cyclones offense to bounce back at UNLV after being held to a season low three points last Saturday in Iowa City?

The Cyclone Sports Report Three Keys To Look For On Saturday Night:

1)SCORE EARLY-After getting off to quick starts in their first two games, the Cyclone offense just couldn't get it going against Iowa. A quick score in the first quarter could be huge in getting their confidence back after not getting in the end zone at all last week.

2)KICKING GAME MUST COME TO PLAY-In close games on the road, kickers are usually the one's that decide the outcome. If the Iowa State kickers don't do a better job against UNLV, the Cyclones could be heading back to Ames with a 2-2 record.

3)GET THE RUNNING GAME GOING-The Cyclones can not have success with a 2.7 yards per carry in the running game like they did at Iowa. The offensive line needs to come out angry after not doing enough in Iowa City. The running backs need to step up their game and make some big plays. If this happens, the Cyclones passing game should flourish and it will likely lead to a Cyclone victory.
