Sager Really Impressed With Iowa State

Due to having to play Friday night, Niceville (FL) High School defensive end Luke Sager didn't get to the Iowa State football game until the second quarter. What happened from that point on during his visit left him with a lot to think about before he ultimately makes a final decision.

"I'm really glad I went up there," he said. "I liked it a lot. I'm going to also visit N.C. State and maybe South Florida one more time before I make my decision. South Florida is still my leader but I really like that I could play right away at Iowa State."

Luke really enjoyed getting to talk with Cyclone Head Coach Gene Chizik. "My talk with him went real good," said Sager. "He's a great guy and I know that I would like to play under him. I've definitely got to take my time because Iowa State really has a lot to offer. I'm definitely going to have a hard time choosing whether to cross them off my list."

There is really only one problem that Luke has with Iowa State. "The thing with Iowa State is that it is so far away," said Sager. "The distance is definitely an issue that I am looking at."

Luke also enjoyed getting to tour all the facilities that Iowa State has to offer before he left on Sunday. "I really liked the campus," he said. "I like how they are rebuilding their stadium and the new academic center is great."
