Cyclone Commitment Roundup Week 8

It was another successful week for most of our commits as many are likely heading to their state playoffs in the next few weeks.

James White:

James rushed for 83 yards on 16 carries to help Skyline High School to a 18-5 victory over Richardson Birkner High School

Beau Blankenship:

It was another very tough week for Beau as Norman Norman North was beaten on a hail mary pass play. They are now 5-2 and play South Moore High School at home this week. Beau had 120 all-purpose yards in the game.

Ryan Mosby:

The Rockwall Heath linebacker had six tackles ina 42-28 victory over Royce City High School. They go for 8-0 this week when they host J.J. Pierce High School.

Conor Boffeli:

Helped lead #1 ranked Valley High School to a 37-7 victory over Ft.Dodge. This week they are at Sioux City North High School.

Josh Lenz:

Josh rushed for 77 yards but it wasn't enough as Dubuque Hempstead fell to 4-4 with a loss to Cedar Rapids Kennedy.

A.J. Klein:

A.J. forced two fumbles and had 10 tackles in a 51-0 victory over Appleton East. Kimberly High School is now 8-0 and next plays Oskosh North High School.

Kyle Lichtenberg:

Kyle helped Bettendorf to an 8-0 record as they beat Burlington High School 31-15. This week they try to finish with a perfect regular season when they travel to Davenport Assumption.

Taylor Martin and Troy Butler:

The Antelope Valley College boys made it three wins in a row as they helped the Marauders win a close one over West Los Angeles College 36-35. Defensive end Taylor Martin had 3 tackles and 1 sack. Troy Butler had 8 tackles and 2 interceptions.

D.J. Beshears:

D.J. only played a half in Ryan High School's 58-14 victory over Little Elm High School but that didn't stop him from catching 4 passes for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns.
