Football Commitment #20!

The talent-rich state of Texas proves to be hospitable recruiting territory to Dan McCarney and the Cyclones yet again.

Cyclone Nation has learned that Iowa State has gained its 20th football commitment for the recruiting class of 2003 this evening.

Tight end James Wright (6-4, 240, 4.8/40) out of Kilgore Junior College in Texas is the lastest prospect to say yes to the Cyclones. A former high school phenom at tight end, Wright shared the position this season with teammate Kevin Everett, a JUCO All-American.

Wright was also recruited by Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Houston. Cyclone Nation will have more on this story shortly. He will send in his signed letter-of-intent to the coaches at Iowa State later this week.
