What Do The Newest Cyclones Have To Say?

Cyclone Sports Report caught up with some of the newest official Iowa State Cyclones to get their reaction on signing day.

National signing day is obviously a very exciting day for the many players who make their commitment official today. CSR talked with some of the newest official Cyclones and this is what they had to say:

Running back Beau Blankenship

"It feels awsome and I'm so excited for it to be finally done. Iowa State is a great place to go with a great coaching staff. I look forward to spending the next four years of my life there."

Defensive End Willie Scott

"It feels great because I didn't think I was ever going to make it. I'm just real excited and anxious to get on campus and play football for Coach Rhoads."

Linebacker Jake Knott

"I'm real happy that it's over. It's definitely a good feeling and I look forward to getting up there this summer. I just can't wait to play at Jack Trice Stadium because it's going to be a great time."

Safety Deon Broomfield

"It feels good because now I have the opportunity to play at such a good school that has good academics and is in the Big 12."

Linebacker A.J. Klein

"I'm just relieved it's over. I'm really excited and can't wait to get going with trying to help this team get back on the right track."

Wide receiver Donnie Jennert

"It's great to know that I'm going to be playing with a close friend like Jansen (Watson). I'm also looking forward to making other lifetime friends at Iowa State. It's just going to be great to be a part of something that is going to be something special in a few years."

Cornerback Jeremy Reeves

"It feels great and I just want to thank Coach Fountain for sticking by me. I'm ready to be a Cyclone and go there and learn from Coach Rhoads and Coach Ash."

Wide receiver Darius Reynolds

"I am really excited to just get there. I just want the staff to use me in any way they can to help win games next year."
