Dennis Looking To Visit Ames In June

Carey (OH) High School's Michael Dennis has seen his recruitment grow and now is looking to take some visits this summer. Cyclone Sports Report provides you the latest on his recruitment.

The 6-foot-7, 268-pound offensive tackle has now increased his scholarship list to nine schools. "I now have offers from Indiana, Ball State, Akron, Bowling Green, Iowa State, Ohio, Maryland, Toledo, and Miami (OH)," said Dennis. "I've also been invited to camps at Ohio State, Michigan State, and Cincinnati so I will likely be going to all three of those in the next month."

Michael is not sure about all of the schools that he will take unofficial visits to this summer but he does know about one for sure coming up next month. "I will be taking a visit to Iowa State in June," he said. "I'm not sure yet on an exact date but Coach Caley and I are working that out. The other school that I'm pretty sure that I will visit is Maryland."

Dennis says that he is developing a solid relationship with Coach Caley and says that a few important things about Iowa State have jumped out during their conversations. "I really like that they have great academics," he said. "Coach Caley also told me that Iowa State has a small community feel about it which is similar to my home town. He also told me about how excited they are to have me come out and visit."

Michael feels that the visits will be huge in regards to him making a final decision. "The visits will be important because I'm waiting to see what these schools have to offer in person," he said. "Then I can hopefully make my final decision before my senior season."
