Adrian Bennett: I also have offers from Minnesota and Louisiana Monroe
CSR: What is your current height and weight?
AB: I'm 6-foot-2 and I weigh 208 pounds.
CSR: When did Iowa State begin contacting you?
AB: Coach Herman came down during the first week of spring and watched me at practice. Then he called me that week and we started talking and then they offered me a scholarship about two weeks later.
CSR: Have you talked to any other coaches besides Coach Herman?
AB: A lot of their other coaches have written me and I also got to talk with Coach Rhoads. He seems like a really nice guy and seems to really love the sport. He really wants to accomplish something at Iowa State.
CSR: What did he say that they liked most about you?
AB: He told me that they like my range of motion, my athleticism, and my intelligence of the field.
CSR: Do you have any visits set up yet?
AB: Yeah, I have a visit set up with Minnesota in September and I've talked with Iowa State about a visit. I'll probably take a visit there in the fall.
CSR: What will be the most important factors in your final decision?
AB: Great academics is first and I'm not too concerned with it being a school that has great tradition. I'm looking for an upcoming school that's willing to work with me and that will make me feel at home.
CSR: Is the fact that Iowa State plays in the Big 12 important to you?
AB: Yeah, it really does matter because it's my favorite conference. I would really love to play in the Big 12.
CSR: When will you likely make your final decision?
AB: Right now I'm going to wait because I want to take my visits so that I can see where I want to go to school. I'll probably make my decision late in the fall.
