"Nothing we did worked at all. We never, ever felt for one instant that we were really in a position to have a chance. That's hard to take. We're not a great team and we know that. We have to do all the little things right to stay in games, and we didn't do them. When you don't do them, you're going to get beat. The little things that have made us successful in the past weren't there today."

With start of Big 12 campaign comes struggle for Eustachy's team
Cedar Rapids Gazette

That's Excellent!: Iowa State still owns a 10-4 record despite getting off to a horrid 0-3 start in Big 12 play.
However, Upon Further Review: The Cyclones haven't been in any of those games against Kansas (home), Texas (away) or Oklahoma (home). And a road date at Missouri is next on the agenda. Better stop scheduling those December showdowns with Coe, Larry.
