Eatmon currently has scholarship offers from Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Syracuse, Akron, Bowling Green, Kent State, Ohio, Toledo, and Western Michigan. This has led to some unofficial visits this summer. "I have been to Akron, Syracuse, Kentucky, Bowling Green, and Western Michigan," he said.
Teven is a 6-foot-7, 280-pound tight end but some schools are not recruiting him at that position. "The majority are going to give me a shot at tight end but because of my weight some would rather move me to offensive or defensive line," said Eatmon. "Iowa State has said that they would try me at tight end and that they like how big I am and how I can run down the field well for my size."
He has also heard about Iowa State's new offense. "I talk with Coach Caley and he's told me about Coach Herman's offense and how the tight end at Rice put up huge numbers last year which definitely helps them because I really like to catch the ball."
Teven knows what he is looking for but isn't sure when he will make his final choice. "Academics are most important for me as I want to major in either education, communications, or sports management," he said. "The second thing for me is the coaching staff and how I get along with them. The visits will be important because once it feels right at one of the schools then I'll know I can pull the trigger and end my recruitment."
