Cyclone Commitment Roundup Week 4

New Cyclone commit Tom Farniok enjoyed a huge victory the night before making his commitment to Iowa State official.

Cyclone Sports Report provides you with a complete roundup of how each of Iowa State's 2010 commitments fared during their games this past week.

T.J. McCullough: Helped Citra (FL) North High School to a 42-0 victory over South Sumter High School this past week. T.J. had four tackles on defense but he also made a huge splash on special teams by returning a punt 66 yards for a touchdown.

Jacob Gannon: Jacob helped Iowa City (IA) West High School to a 20-7 victory over Cedar Rapids Prairie. This week they look for another win when they take on Cedar Rapids Washington.

Ricky Howard/Durrell Givens: The Chaffey (CA) College teammates suffered a tough 28-27 loss against Grossmont after leading 21-0. Howard had one catch for eight yards and Givens made eight tackles and also came up with a fumble recovery.

Tom Farniok: The newest Cyclone helped his Sioux Falls (SD) Washington High School team to a 49-7 victory over Rapid City Central. The center helped an offensive line that paved the way for 180 rushing yards and just under 300 yards in total offense.

Kirby Van Der Kamp: Kirby had three punts for West Des Moines (IA) Valley as they defeated Ames 34-14 this past weekend. One his punts went for 45 yards and his two others were downed inside the Ames twenty yard line including one that died on the two yard line. This week they look for another victory when they take on Mason City.

Jared Barnett: Jared led Garland (TX) High School to a 17-13 victory by competing 15 of 32 passes for 188 yards. He threw for one touchdown and rushed for the other one. This week he'll be leading his team against Lakeview High School.

Chris Young: The Trinity Valley wide receiver did not play in their 27-24 loss to Cisco due to his ankle injury last week.
