The 5-foot-10, 175-pound defensive back also holds offers from Nebraska and UNLV and is hearing from Arizona but currently he has no favorites. "I'm not sure yet where I'll be going but I'll definitely be waiting until after the season," said Mack. "I'm looking for tradition and academics first and if I play right away that's great but if not I'm okay with that."
Jonathan was offered by Iowa State back during the summer when he was spotted by Iowa State secondary coach Chris Ash. "He saw my tape and then got in touch with my coach," said Mack.
"Soon after that Iowa State offered me a scholarship. He told me that he liked that I was physical and that I had good corner skills. Since then Coach Ash and I have stayed in touch. He's a nice man who I really enjoy talking to. We actually talked today as he wanted to know how my season is going so far."
Jonathan is having a very solid season and his team is currently 3-1. He said that most teams are not throwing in his direction which is why he currently has no interceptions. He does have 11 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and he also has an 87-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
