ISU on Offense Against Texas A&M

The Texas A&M Aggies defense has given up 30 or more points in five of their first seven games this season. Can the Cyclones become the sixth this Saturday?

The Cyclone Sports Report Three Keys To look For On Saturday Afternoon:

1)KEEP RIDING THE A-ROB TRAIN- Sure we somehow got out of Lincoln with a victory minus A-Rob but I doubt that will happen again on Saturday if Alexander Robinson is not used early and often. He is the leading rusher in the Big 12 and he can be the key to keeping the potent Texas A&M off the field.

2)SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE- The Iowa State offensive line has only given up four sacks this season which is best in the nation. They will not have senior center Reggie Stephens who is out after an appendectomy and they are facing a defense that has 21 sacks which is eleventh best in the country. Hybrid linebacker/end Von Miller leads the country in sacks with 12.5 and will have to be contained on Saturday if the Cyclones expect to win.

3)MUST SCORE TOUCHDOWNS- Iowa State might have gotten away with a victory by scoring only one touchdown and a field goal in Lincoln but that won't work this week against Texas A&M. When Iowa State gets in the red zone on Saturday they must put the ball in the end zone or they will likely be fighting an uphill battle all day.
