Coach Otzelberger: He has always been able to score the ball but he's really starting to develop an all-around game. His ballhandling and passing are a lot better because he needs to be more than just a shooter. The biggest area he has progressed at since he arrived has been his defense. He really takes pride in it and he's becoming one of our better perimeter defenders.
Cyclone Sports Report: What does Scott need to keep improving on?
Coach Otzelberger: I'd like to see him be more vocal and he's got to keep looking at basketball as what else he does aside from a scoring standpoint. He'll score more in the future but right now he just needs to keep working on the little things.
Cyclone Sports Report: What do you see his role being this season?
Coach Otzelberger: It will change every night but he will definitely be a rotation guy for us. Each time out he needs to understand what his role is for the night and then just do all the little things that will help the team. Some nights it will be hitting the big shot, other nights it will be making sure he's getting the other guys their touches, and other times it will be coming up huge defensively.
