1)THE RETURN OF ARNAUD-Even though the Cyclones were able to pull out a huge upset two weeks ago at Nebraska, the past two games have clearly shown that at this point Austen Arnaud is badly needed and that Iowa State would likely have been in major trouble against Oklahoma State had Arnaud not been able to play again this week. Jerome Tiller has shown signs of being a solid player in the future but they just haven't moved the ball in a consistent way over the past two weeks.
2)BALL CONTROL IS A MUST- The Cyclones can become bowl eligible if they pull off the upset of the Cowboys on Saturday and that won't happen unless Alexander Robinson and the Cyclone rushing can keep the Oklahoma State offense off the field. Robinson is trying to become the first Iowa State player in ten years to win the Big 12 rushing title.
3)SCORE EARLY-Jack Trice should be rocking on Saturday considering the Cyclones are a very respectable 5-4 this late in the season and Iowa State fans know just how important this game is in regards to trying to rebuild the program and trying to get to the postseason. If they can put up a touchdown early it would be huge in keeping the early momentum that the home crowd should likely provide. The Cyclones can't afford to get down early and have the crowd taken out of the game.
