ISU On Offense Against Colorado

The Cyclone offense is only averaging nine points over its past three games. What will they need to do to turn things around on Saturday?

The Cyclone Sports Report Three Keys To Look For On Saturday Afternoon:

1)ARNAUD MUST BOUNCE BACK- Arnaud showed his rust last week against Oklahoma State by throwing two interceptions but if he can rebound against Colorado it will be huge in helping the Cyclones to get a victory and would help towards getting his confidence back as they head to Missouri for their last regular season game of the year the following week. If Austen struggles again on Saturday, Iowa State could sadly be looking at a three game losing streak.

2)SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE IN THE RUN GAME-The Buffaloes defense is only giving up 111 yards rushing per game but Iowa State is third in the Big 12 with an average of 185.7 yards rushing per game. If Alexander Robinson can put on a show for the fans in the last home game of the season it should lead to a Cyclone victory.

3)LET'S SEE HERMAN'S BAG OF TRICKS-This is not just any game as the Cyclones have a chance triple their win total from last season and to become bowl eligible. Offensive coordinator Tom Herman needs to dig out any and every play that he can that will help the Cyclones get win number six. If the Cyclones can get a touchdown from just one trick play that could be the difference on Saturday so Herman needs to mix it up and he can't be afraid to use the element of surprise.
