Clark talks visit to Iowa State

Cyclone Sports Report caught up with John A. Logan (IL) College forward Andre Clark after he took in a visit to Iowa State this past weekend.

"Everything was good and to be honest with you it was better than I thought it would be," said Clark. "With Coach Robinson leaving I thought that it would hurt Iowa State's chances with me but it didn't because I really liked everything about the visit."

The 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward was very clear about what he liked most about Iowa State. "I really like the fact that they feel I can come in and do something right away," said Clark. "I'm definitely more interested than before and I know that if I went there that I would have the chance to play right away."

Andre enjoyed getting to spend time with Iowa State head coach Greg McDermott.

"We had a pretty good time and he let me know how much they want me to come to Iowa State," he said. "He let me know how they would use me if I chose Iowa State. He told me that they have a big guy who is good on the low block and that they have a big guy who is a really good shooter. He feels like I'm a guy who can do both and so he told me that I would play both positions which I felt good about."

Andre has one more visit set up and then his recruitment will likely come to an end. "I've got a visit set up with TCU and then when I'm done with that if I feel comfortable with a school then I'll make my decision. There could be a few other schools that I look at but right now it's down to those two schools."
