"He has great power for his size," Head Coach Joe McMenamin said. "As a sophomore, he started as a fullback for us and that did him a world of good because it helped out his total game. He can block and catch. Last season, he had 4 touchdown receptions of 50 yards or more."
Last year, Gunn rushed for over 1,000 yards and 12 scores. He also played cornerback.
"I think I read the field real well," Gunn said. "I like to lower my shoulder. I just think I have good power and speed and I can block too."
As of now, Iowa State has offered him a scholarship and there are plenty more on the horizon for Gunn.
"I am looking at academics first and then playing time. I want to play. Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame are some of the schools I am looking at. I am open and it is early."
Gunn would like to camp at Nebraska once again this summer. He and his teammate, Cortney Grixby, are considering attending a Nike Camp as well.
