Jarrod has visited all six schools at least once and recently took another unofficial visit to Iowa State.
"I had a real good time as I got play with the guys and meet with the coaches," said Uthoff. "I talked mainly with Coach Hoiberg and Coach Otzelberger and they just reiterated to me that they really want me and that they hope that I decide to become a Cyclone."
So why did Jarrod include Iowa State in his final six?
"I think Coach Hoiberg's style would fit me really well and I think he will be a very good coach," said Uthoff. "I also like that he recently added Coach (Bobby) Lutz which should bring a lot of experience to the staff."
Jarrod has this week off and then begins a very busy stretch of play.
"On July 6th my AAU team (the Iowa Barnstormers)goes to Milwaukee until the 9th and then we'll be in Chicago from the 9th to the 11th," he said. "Then I'll be going with my high school team to Kansas City from the 12th to the 15th. Then I go back with my AAU team and we'll be in Las Vegas from the 21st to the 26th."
So when is Jarrod looking to make his final decision?
"It will likely be in the next two weeks," he said. "I'm not sure when because I like all six schools a lot but eventually I'll choose where my game fits best."
