Texas CB on Cyclones radar

With Iowa State looking to add some solid depth at cornerback for future seasons, one player that they have targeted is Dallas (TX) Kimball High School's Kenneth Lynn. So where does Lynn's recruitment currently stand?

"I have no favorited right now," he said. "I have offers from Iowa State and UTEP and I'm being recruited pretty heavily by TCU and Oklahoma State."

Kenneth says that Iowa State took notice of him just a few months ago.

"They started looking at me around early June," he said. "Coach Bray told me that they saw my highlight tape and that they could really work with me at Iowa State. He said they really like my speed and coverage skills."

While the 5-foot-11, 165-pound cornerback is very interested in Iowa State he made it clear that at the moment he would rather stay closer to home.

"Coach Bray wants me to come up for a game and I definitely want to go there for a visit," he said. "If I get a chance to stay closer to home I probably would because I really want to be closer to Texas but I would definitely like to check them out."

Kenneth had two interceptions last season and says that he would like to have his decision made for his senior year begins.

"I will very likely make my final decision before my season begins," said Lynn. "I want to major in sports management and I would also like to redshirt my first year so that I could bigger."
