The 5-foot-11, 160-pound corner back's other main offer had come from UTEP but was also being recruited heavily by TCU and Oklahoma State. He decided that he no longer wanted to wait for other offers because Iowa State had become his clear favorite.
"I talked a lot with Coach Bray and ever since they had seen my highlight tape they had been recruiting me pretty hard," said Lynn. "They really like my size because they told me they already have some corners that are shorter than me and they also like my speed."
Kenneth called his recruiting coach to commit and then got to talk to Iowa State's head coach.
"I called Coach Bray and he was real happy and just telling how they have been working real hard in camp getting ready for the season," said Lynn. "Then he put me on with Coach Rhoads and he told me was real excited about my commitment."
Kenneth is excited to have his decision over with and he told Cyclone Sports Report that he'll be heading to Ames at some point in the next month.
"It's just amazing right now to know that I'm going to be playing in the Big 12 but right now I just got to focus on my senior season at Kimball," he said. "I talked with the coaches and it looks like I'll be coming up for either the second or third home game. It'll probably be the one (Northern Iowa) in September."
