The win last week against Miami was impressive, especially considering many experts put the Buckeyes on upset alert. The next two weeks are just show up games, as they take on Ohio and Eastern Michigan. The saying is until the champion is beat, you don't knock them down in the rankings. It's the truth with the Buckeyes at this point.
Nobody knew Adam Robinson would be this good. The sophomore has looked like a Heisman candidate so far, but how many carries will Jewel Hampton steal now that he is back? Even though the Hawkeyes are ranked 9th in the country, they are flying under the radar as a possible national title team. A win against a ranked opponent Arizona this weekend on the road would definitely put Iowa in the spotlight.
If the Badgers haven't looked overly impressive in their first two wins, but they haven't looked bad either. Their first true test will come this weekend against Arizona State and the Sun Devils high power passing attack. Arizona State isn't in the top 25, but they are 2-0 and a non-conference win against a BCS team always looks good on the resume.
Michigan has looked impressive in their first two wins, but the verdict is still out on the Wolverines. Did we really learn that much in wins against UCONN and Notre Dame? Sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson has been speculator, racking up 885 yards on the ground and through the air. While many don't think he will slow down, can he really keep doing what he is doing against Big Ten defenses every week?
5.)Penn State: 1-1
The Nittany Lions shouldn't be penalized for losing to the No.1 team in the nation on the road, but their offensive performance was pretty weak. Freshman Robert Bolden was 13-29 for 144 yards. He will need to get better, even if it was one of the top defenses in the country.
7.) Michigan State: 2-0
9.) Indiana: 1-0
