Kravish Shoots Down Twitter Report

A Tweet on Monday claimed Class of 2011 forward David Kravish was down to Iowa and Cal as possible choices for college. When I called the Missouri product, he had a different story. Find out what he had to say in this update.

David Kravish received a text message from his father while at school on Monday. It said a Twitter post indicated that the Class of 2011 big man from Missouri had narrowed recruiting list to Iowa and California.

It came as news to Kravish.

"Somebody put words in my mouth that didn't come out of my mouth," the Lee's Summit product said. "It's interesting how someone had me eliminating Colorado considering I'm going there on an official visit this Thursday."

Kravish already officially visited Iowa and California. He went into those trips thinking it would help clear up the picture in his mind. It clouded it.

"I hoped that it would make the decision easier, but it's been anything but," the 6-foot-10, 200-pound Kravish said. "Iowa and Cal haven't separated themselves in my head. And now I'm sure when I go to Colorado, that's just going to make it more confusing. That's not a bad thing, though. I'm glad I have choices."

I asked Kravish when he thinks he'll have a decision as Colorado is his last official visit.

"I think it's going to be on Sports Center," he joked. "It's going to be called "The Decision, Part II." Or maybe someone will tweet it that I committed to the University of Italy or something."

Kravish then got serious.

"After this visit, I'd like to make up my mind in the next week and a half or two weeks," he said.
