He officially visited Iowa when the Hawkeyes man-handled Penn State. He saw South Carolina knock off Alabama last week. Those teams are thought to be the favorites.

"I'm picking between Ole Miss, Iowa, South Carolina and Florida," Byrd said. "I was going to wait, but I decided that to continue visiting schools was just going to be hard to do, so I'm comfortable with what I've already seen am I'm ready to make my commitment now."
Scout's take – Byrd never visited Mississippi, but did visit South Carolina, Florida and Iowa. In my Northeast Stock Report I've consistently gone with South Carolina as his destination, so I'm going to stick with that for a prediction.
