Vincent Out Rest of the Year

HI has learned that wide receiver commitment Austin Vincent will miss the rest of the season. Come inside for the latest.

HawkeyeInisider.com has learned that Iowa commitment and DeSoto (TX) wide receiver Austin Vincent has broke his fibula. He will miss the rest of the season.

Vincent had surgery a few days after the fracture. Usually recovery time from a fibula fracture is six to eight weeks, when no surgery is required. Due to Vincent needing surgery, HI does not know a timetable at this point.

We have reached out to the wide receiver and will have a full write up tomorrow morning, after we talk with him tonight.

Playing on one of the most explosive offenses in the state of Texas, Vincent had 16 catches for 327 yards and six touchdowns. His 20.7 yards per catch average was one of the best in the state with a player catching more than 10 balls.
