Canzeri Confirms Visit To Iowa City

Jordan Canzeri last week thought his recruitment was all done. Now, it's seems like it's just heating up.

It's not that he's trying to keep it a secret. Troy HS (NY) running back Jordan Canzeri just hasn't made up his mind. The Scout.com 3-star running back confirmed with HawkeyeInsider.com that he did visit Iowa City this past weekend, but did commit on his visit.

"I haven't decided yet...Iowa is going to give me until signing day to think about it," said Canzeri. "It's not that I'm keeping it secret, I just don't know."

The senior committed to Villanova last week, but hours later received an offer from Iowa. The thought of playing football in the Big Ten has always been appealing to Canzeri.

"The Big Ten is always on ESPN and they maybe play the most competitive football in college. All my friends would get to see me if I played at Iowa down the road on ESPN. It would be a dream come true."

As a senior, Canzeri carried the ball 222 times for 2048 yards and 34 touchdowns. He also had three return touchdowns as well.
