2003 Iowa Football Spring Mini-Clinic Tour

IOWA CITY, IA - The University of Iowa's annual Spring Football Mini-Clinic tour around Iowa will kick off Wednesday, April 30 at the Four Points Sheraton in Des Moines. All high school coaches and Hawkeye fans from across the state are invited to join Kirk Ferentz and select members of the Iowa Football coaching staff for an evening of football lectures and demonstrations. Iowa football mini-clinics will also be held in Sioux City on May 7 and the Quad Cities on May 14.

"We really feel that the clinics are beneficial, not only for the high school coaches who participate, but also for our coaching staff as well," said Ferentz. "At all of our clinics we are happy for the chance to spread the philosophy of Hawkeye Football. And, we also get feedback from others in the same business. The mini-clinics are particularly important because of the opportunity to go out and visit with coaches on their home turf, so to speak. We really believe that the Iowa football clinics are helpful in improving high school football programs around the state as well as the University of Iowa program.
