The junior is doing his part, taking visits and planning trips to various camps this summer.
"Two weekends ago, Jonathan Williams (3-star RB with offers from various schools), Alec Morris (QB), and I went to the Oklahoma State junior day on Saturday and Texas Tech on Sunday.," said LaGrone to Scout.com. "If we all got an offer from the same school, we would probably all go there. We talk about it a lot. We all really like Oklahoma State and we all like Missouri. Missouri offered Jonathan, so he said he was going to put a good word in for us. We also all really like Iowa, actually I don't know if I have ever talked to Alec about it, but I know Jonathan does."
So what did the Allen defensive anchor think about OSU's junior day?
"They have everything. Their facilities are ridiculous. It's like a hotel. The weight room is so luxurious and their stadium is really nice. The stands are close to the field, so the environment is really crazy there. The coaches seem really nice; it's just a place that I think anyone would want to go. I don't anything can match the Oklahoma State facilities."
At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, LaGrone had 87 tackles, nine tackles for loss, five sacks, three interceptions, and six pass breakups in 2010.
"I'm going to Kansas next month and my mom and I are going to try to go to Iowa State and Ole Miss later this month. I have been invited to a couple spring practices and a lot of camps this summer," said LaGrone. "When I go to Iowa State, I'm going to try to swing by Iowa. I like them a lot. They send me a lot of stuff in the mail. I was invited to their summer camp last year, but couldn't make it. I'm definitely going to go this year, because Iowa is definitely the one I want to go to more than any other."
