Kyle Meyer said a few weeks ago that he might be ready to announce his college choice around this time. The 2012 forward from Georgia isn't there yet and is slowing down his recruitment a bit.
Kyle Meyer thought he might be able to make his college decision around this time when he visited Iowa a few weeks ago. The 2012 Georgia forward hasn't reached that point yet.
"I'm still maybe a month or so away," Meyer said of his decision time.
Meyer visited Clemson last week, one of his three finalists along with Iowa and East Carolina. The Tigers haven't offered him a scholarship yet.
"They feel they need to watch me play more," Meyer said of what the Clemson coaches have told him.
Meyer has officially visited Iowa twice. He attended a football game in the fall and was back to see the basketball team take on Michigan on Feb. 19. At that time, he thought he might be ready for a decision by now.
