Warren Central high school (Ind.) running back Deionte Buckley has started off the month of April on a high note.

"Hey Josh, Western Michigan offered me today," said Buckley in a message to Scout.com. "I felt really good about it. I went down there yesterday and really liked the way they practiced and how their running backs looked.

"Coach Espisitos is a great dude and I'm thankful for the offer. I did expect it, because they said they were going to let me know if they were going to offer very soon."

The 5-foot-9, 190 pound junior rushed for over a 1000 yards in 2010, doing so as one of two featured backs for the Warriors.

Buckley has already been offered by Cincinnati and is hearing from schools like: Iowa, Ball State, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State, Purdue, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin.

In a previous Scout.com conversation, Buckley stated he is looking for a school with strong academics and a great football tradition.
