Earlier this week, we ran an article on QB/ATH Steve Breaston from Woodland Hills, who had a very impressive list of offers, the same can be held true for teammate OL Brian Borgoyn.
Brian has 23 offers, including Notre Dame, Florida, Iowa, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Northwestern, Boston College, Syracuse, and Virginia.
"I don't really have a favorite, but I'm pretty high on Notre Dame," commented Brian. "I'll probably also take official visits to Iowa and Florida. I'll just drive to schools near my town unofficially. I'd like Michigan to offer me because of their great tradition of OL." "Iowa is a program on the rise. I was impressed with how they signed OL Blake Larsen, the #1 OL in the nation last year. I also know Ed Hinkel, and he'll be a very good player for Iowa." "Coach O'Keefe is straight forward to me and never lies. I like him a lot and they've probably been one of the schools to show the most interest in me." "It'll be a tough decision on whether I want to leave the area or not, but I want a change of scenery."
Obviously, Brian will have no problem getting a change of scenery with all the schools around the Midwest and east that are showing interest. Now it remains to be seen how well Iowa can gain Brian's attention on his visit. With Coach Ferentz, I like our chances.
