Iowa picked up its second road win in less than a week on Wednesday when it knocked off rival Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Matt Gatens scored a game-high 19 points to lead Iowa to a 64-62 win at Minnesota on Wednesday night on Minneapolis. It represented the Hawkeyes second road win in a row after they knocked off Wisconsin on Saturday in Madison.

Zach McCabe (12) and Aaron White (10) joined Gatens in double figure scoring against Minnesota. Devyn Marble added nine.

Gatens also paced the visitors in rebounds (7) and assists (3). McCabe also snagged seven boards.

The Hawkeyes (10-6 overall, 2-1 Big Ten) are over .500 in the conference for the first time since the 2006-07 season. They own back-to-back road wins in the league for the first time since '06-07.
