Iowa and Illinois will meet in the Big Ten Tournament for the first time ever on Thursday. Iowa Coach Fran McCaffery and several players talk about the Illini.

TELEVISION: The game will be televised by BTN. It's scheduled to air at 10:30 a.m. CT. Gus Johnson, Shon Morris and Lisa Byington will call the action.

RECORDS, RANKINGS: Iowa finished the regular season at 16-15 overall and 8-10 in the Big Ten. Illinois was 17-14, 6-12.

Neither team is ranked.

HISTORY: Illinois holds an 81-66 advantage in the series, including a 65-54 win in Champaign on Feb. 26, the only meeting between the teams this season. This will be the first time they've met in the Big ten Tournament.

Illini Coach Bruce Weber is 13-2 against the Hawkeyes. Iowa's Fran McCaffery is seeking his first win against Illinois in what will be his fourth try.
