"I have about 15 scholarship offers, said linebacker James Bryant.
"My favorites are Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Maryland and Miami.
"Miami, Maryland and Virginia Tech haven't offered me yet.
"I'm keeping all my options open. I don't have a leader right now.
"I'm looking for a school with strong academics and I'm also going to be looking at player-coach relationships as well as coach-coach relationships. I'll also be looking at defensive schemes."
Bryant, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound, linebacker from Reading, Pennsylvania will be a four-year varsity starter in 2003. He was named 2nd team all-state as a junior.
Does Bryant have a time-table for making his verbal commitment?
"I'm going to be playing in the All-American game in Texas at the end of the season. I'll make my decision on national television at half-time of the game." Bryant said.
James Bryant is a three-sport athlete that also letters in basketball and track. He is the #6 nationally ranked linebacker according to TheInsiders.com recruiting experts.
