Brodell took home top honors in the 100 meters at the Drake Relays this spring with a blazing 10.65, and he has also shown that his speed applies on the football field. That is why two programs have extended scholarship offers this summer.
It's not often when two Division I-A prospects come from the same school in Iowa, but that will easily be down this year in Ankeny. Joining teammate DE Grant McCracken, Brodell has exploded onto the scene in receiving his first two scholarship offers.
"Kansas State has shown interest as well and even invited me to their camp, but I was not able to make it."
So will the speedster be making a decision in the near future?
"I would like to make a decision by the start of the season, but will not rule out waiting until the fall either.
"I don't have a preference in either program at this time."
