Injury report: The good news is that it appeared that Iowa came out of Saturday healthy.

Joe Gaglione left the game for several plays to have his shoulder worked on. Tom Donatell also missed a series after it looked like the wind was knocked out of him.

B.J. Lowery played the whole game on Saturday after leaving the NIU game with a contusion. Brett Van Sloten was dinged up last week but looked fine against ISU.

Extra Points: Iowa Coach Kirk Ferentz saw his record against the Cyclones fall to 6-8….Anthony Hitchens rolled up a career- and game-high 19 tackles. He totaled 14 in the first half…Iowa State won consecutive games in this series for the first time since reeling off five in a row from 1998-2002…The Hawkeyes netted just three points from four ISU turnovers…Iowa has been in the red zone six times through two games. The Hawkeyes have scored 15 points (5 FGs)…Iowa opponents have reached the red zone seven times and scored 19 points…The Hawkeyes defense limited ISU to 7 of 17 on third downs and has allowed just 13 conversions on 35 third downs this season...
