Hill Sees South Bend

Despite an unofficial visit to Notre Dame on Saturday, 2013 Detroit DB Delano Hill says he's still committed to Iowa.

Iowa verbal commitment Delano Hill visited Notre Dame on Saturday. The Class of 2013 defensive back said his Hawkeye pledge remained in place, however.

"It was about going to a game with a couple of my teammates. That was it," Hill said Sunday after being on hand in South Bend, IN to see the Irish knock of Michigan, 13-6.

Hill accompanied Detroit Cass Tech 2014 prospect Damon Webb to Notre Dame on Saturday. The Irish have not offered a scholarship to either player.

"I really didn't even talk to (the Notre Dame coaches)," Hill said. "They just asked me how I liked the game. I don't really talk to anybody recruiting wise anymore. I'm committed to Iowa and I'm solid right now."

Speculation surfaced last week that Hill was visiting Michigan State when the Spartans played host to Notre Dame.

"I was going to go but I didn't," Hill said.

Hill said he is not scheduled to take any more visits outside of his official trip to Iowa.
